When I lose the remote I always start cleaning and straightening up in the area I last saw it and I usually find it in the process!

Try lookin under the couch? or maybe under some pillows or sheets that are on the couch? Hehe, i know how annoyin that is when you cant find stuff like that..so i hope my suggestions have helped in anyway, and i hope you find your remote control.

Look between the pillows on the couch, it's where mine is 90% of the time. If it's not there, it must be in my husband's short's pocket, that's where it is the other 10% of the time.

In the laundry basket, on the dresser, on top of the fridge, under the couch, in your hand. Thats where I always look first.
