I use to like the sound of jet fighters going over my house (DC area, just northwest of the Beltway). It didn't happened that often, so before 9/11 I thought of it as a treat and exciting. Now when a fighter goes over my house (like last night), I think ut-oh, what's wrong. And I think about the ones that circled over my house on the morning and afternoon of 9/11, they were there waiting for flight 93 - creepy and sad. But even though I say ut-oh, I am glad they are up there, I just don't like the idea that they might need to be used here in the U.S.

Well I was at a military base with my ex boyfriend when it hap pend, I was scared. I think it effects me because I do feel afraid to ride in an airplane now, I would still do it but can't enjoy it as much anymore. I am also afraid that our president is making things worse for our country, I think this was an opportunity for Bush to go to war, for oil reasons, I am also afraid they will reinstate the draft, my brother is about to turn 18 and I don't want him to be drafted, hes not a fighter type of guy, for a greedy president

Don't take this the wrong way, My birthday is Sept 12, I don't party on my birthday anymore, I watch the horror on TV and hope that nothing like 9-11 ever happens again. Every year all the family's of all involved must go through a living hell.
I hope all involved with striking terror world wide die a slow and horrible death.....They earned it!!!!!!

It caused the president of my country to lose his mind and go off on this ridiculous tangent of a war in Iraq, which has stretched our defenses to the limit, and burned up billions of dollars that could have been better used in this country.
