A friend took a picture of some raspberries and there was a very unusual looking bug on them. It's small, yellowish orange, has short spikes with brown tips on it's back, 6 long whitish colored legs with black stripes on them. It looks somewhat gummy or squishy. Very cool looking bug - we would love to identify it's type. Please help - and thank you!

Is it a potato bug?

Look up raspberry pests on the internet, and perhaps you will find something in regards to it.

Go to a nursery bring the picture in, and they'll help you there.

Sounds like some sort of beetle. Start a web search for them in your area, using the "images" tab

This sounds like it could be a larva of the ladybug. Here are some images:

i am going to guess an aphid they are BAD news for fruit plants you should defineatly kill every single one of the little varmits becaue they also attract ants who protect them and like the sugar off of their backs... lady bugs eat them if you are in to that organic style shiznalty
