I believe they use hormones (testosterone) and it makes the clitoris grow into a small penis. The vagina is still present. They would need a breast reduction to remove their breasts.

they take hormones that help change the body shape, and they use the bits and pieces they have to make a penis. Not quite sure if it functions or not, I don't see how it would.
