I agree! I hate that! but you know what I hate even more? When you don't get any cards and nobody bothers to even call you to wish you happy birthday and you're stuck inside, with no one to celebrate with, no friends to take you out, and no family that cares enough to do anything about it. That's the kind of b-day I had last year. fun times.... yeah....
Hey, what's and e-eulogy?

Ha, ha, ha, wow is it your birthday That_guy?
No e-cards don't count I always thought they were just for online buddies because you don't know their address and can't mail them a card. But if your friend who lives across the street sends it then it just means that they don't care enough about you to give you a real card or they're to cheap.

Well actually for me it would depend on who sends it. There are some people who I only know thru the internet, so that's acceptable.
But family and good friends better send me a real card, so that i can properly display it. I take the time to read thru cards for your b-day, i expect the same for mine.

i agree...that seems cheap and shallow to me. it just says, "i couldn't bother going to an actual store and choosing a real card, made on real paper for you and the stamp is too expensive. so, i got online at the last second to send you this cheesy card that sings! thinking of you...happy birthday." the only way that i find that 'tasteful', is if the person sent you a real card, and just sent you an e-card for fun...my friend does that every year. she finds a really obnoxious e-card and sends me that as well as an actual card.

right there , cheering you on girl, its so phoney and easy way out, I rather not get one, in fact I delete mine, don't even open them , then in a few days they say=hey, I never received notice that you picked up your card. I think how how thoughtful of you-NOT, probally same way they'll send out christmas cards,

Actually I dont even expect an e-card from people, its kind of arrogant to expect things from people. Anything anyone does for me, I am grateful for, but I really dont expect anything.

I agree 100% e-cards are just dumb unless they don't know your real address then it's ok cause they can't knock on your door so they knock on your screen so to speak lol.

I think e-cards should be an addition to a real card.
