The National Weather Service recommends avoiding using electrical items of anything attached to the plumbing during a lightning storm. The plumbing in an average house has vent pipes that extend out of the roof to allow air into the pipes so water will drain. Being on the roof of the house, being metal and being connected, it is possible that lightning could strike a vent pipe which would conduct the charge down the pipes, up the drain pipe in the shower, through the water and into you.

Nope! - Not unless there is a serious, pre-existing, problem with your home's wiring. Ever seen Mythbusters? They did a segment on this "urban legend". Proved it could only happen if a huge bolt of lightning hit the house AND you had a loose wire directly behind your shower.
I wouldn't worry, go to work clean!
Cheers!

If it is a wet storm, go outside w/ a bar of soap, get naked, and get clean! Otherwise take a shower. Your chances of getting electrocuted are extremely slim, regardless of method.

A person can be hit by lightening while talking on a land line phone during a thunderstorm, but I don't believe you will be hit while taking a shower.

I don't think it would effect any thing you are doing in the shower. If you are dirty enough to take a shower then take one. If you just feel like taking one then don't.

you'll be fine. dont worry. it IS possible, but the chance is really low. and i think you'd have to be standing on the metal drain in order to be grounded (assuming you have a plastic-like shower like me) dont worry, you'll be fine
