Well first off the memory in the auction is Ecc ram which i doubt is compatible with your motherboard , because ecc ram is usually used in servers. I'd recommend getting rid of that 1gb of pc2100 and getting a 1or 2gb of ddr400 pc3200 Non ecc ram.

Check your manual for the MB, most likely it'll not support registered memory.

When looking for memory try to get the same as you have already, or you may get compatibility problems (or not), but gambling your money on that does not sound smart.

Better look for a pair of 3200 1 gig modules and drop the ones you are using now.

FYI: You use DDR memory now. PC2100 is DDR.

You have 1GB of memory now. Any more than that and Windows does not use it effectivley.

You're better off staying with what you have or upgrade to PC3200 memory, which will not give you anymroe performance speed boost to be honest.

Probably not. The memory on ebay is registered and if memory serves me, that motherboard only handles unregistered. Also make sure you do not buy RAM that is not identical to the ram in your system, in other words, the same capacity and speed as the existing DIMMs. Mixing memory is never a good idea so if you have 512MB DIMMs now, only get 512MB Dimms.

Most consumer grade motherboards do not support ECC memory so I suspect it will not work. Check the specs for the mb as regards the use of error correcting memory sticks.

If your MB has DDR Slots, it appears that this will work for you.
