Masturbation commonly will help you to prevent premature ejaculation. You need to masturbate smart- stimulate yourself almost to climax, then back off and stop. Wait a little, then start masturbating again. When you almost get to climax again, stop. This will train you to control your stimulation and will make you last longer. Or dont use lubrication, that always helps. You might be able to last longer with a woman because it feels different. What helps to last longer with a woman is to use a condom. The condom makes your penis less sensitive and you wont climax so soon.

No, there's no correlation between masturbation and premature ejaculation. On the contrary, regular masturbation or sexual acts give back delayed orgasm. I don't think that the reason of your different times is due to the diverse excitement. Nobody can foresee how you could act with a girl.... when too horny somebody even ejaculates before starting the act!

The problem is that you are training your body to reach orgasm as quickly as possible. This is sensible if the objective is to get pleasure with as little effort as possible or if getting off before someone walks in is vital. Doing it this way probably also means you are using maximum stimulation. All OK if you just want to masturbate. The problem is when you come to transfer your activities to partner sex. First if you are all trained up to *** as quickly as possible the girl will be frustrated. Second if you need a tight gripping fist to do it a girl's vagina may disapoint. Best idea is to practice taking longer when alone and lighten up on the grip. Take breaks when doing it. Let things build and subside, don't just rush to the end. Practice will help.

The Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM IV) defines premature ejaculation as a persistent or recurrent ejaculation with minimal sexual stimulation before, on or shortly after penetration and before a person wishes.
