Our politicians have failed us. Rightly or wrongly, many in the world hate Americans and blame us for everything that is wrong in their lives. Republicans and Democrats have no clear message and no clear plan for the future of our country. What do we do to get this ship sailing forward instead of around in circles? I don't want to interfere in any way with anyone's beliefs, religious or otherwise, but I don't want to be killed because I wear a cross around my neck. What do we do?

The world has certainly changed when conflicts in far flung places are now at everyone's door step. The only thing we can do is keep a dialogue with the international community...what is going on is not just one nation's problem anymore but everyone's concern.
I strongly believe that to boil down the current situation to simply a difference in ideology/doctrine/religion is to over-simplify the problem. The threat we face in today's world has been many many years in the making and there is a lot of resentment that has built up ..........on both sides. Anymore anger does not serve the resolution agenda....DIALOGUE, DIALOGUE, DIALOGUE! I cannot over emphasis how important it is to get some communication going.........this is the world's problem and I would like to see more states invloved and calling for mediation before things get out of hand and we head into another global conflict.

In this world we are all living in the fear of offending someone else...in the past we were few religions and adjusting to that was easy but rules were stringent...then people started branching out to accommodate drastic viewpoints and now religious beliefs have taken such a staunch direction that it is difficult to adapt to anything....
this world has come to a point where you cannot walk without crossing someone elses path and religion...
the way you feel about others trying to kill you maybe they feel the same about you...in this world not all muslims are under the bird's eye (whether they are terrorists or not)...it is ridiculous but that is the way people are in this world...
we can change the world and their people by trying to treat others with equality and then expect the same for ourselves...

Become an Independent conservative or insist that the Republicans get their act together. The worst of all evils is the Deomcrat party and they'll destroy us for certain.
