I had my first period 28 days after my D&C, but my OB put me on birth control pills during that month so I wouldn't conceive. He said I needed to wait one cycle before ttc again to let my body heal. Ovulation is a tricky thing. Not everyone ovulates the same time during their cycle, so the web-sites that have you enter the date of your last period and how many days your cycle is, isn't always the best route. To find out if/when you are ovulating, I would suggest either taking your daily temperature using a basil body thermometer and when your temp rises 0.5 degrees F, you have ovulated. You can get more info on this at fertilityfriend.com. Or, you can buy an ovulation kit. In either case, you should start having sex by day 10 of your cycle and have sex every other day until at least day 22 to insure you don't miss the ovulation time. Once you've established a pattern for ovulation, then you can time your sex based on that. Good luck and sorry for your loss.

Probably be at least 28 days from the time of miscarriage. Ovulation should start right away, that being 14 days from the day of your first period.

It depends on the women. Usually the treat the miscarriage as a "period". But for many women, the hormones are messed up, and make take a little longer to start ovulate. The time you ovulate is the midpoint between your periods.

usually your periods will resume in 4-6 weeks, just like after birth. You will usually ovulate 14 days after the start of your period. Good luck!
