Thinking doesn't accomplish anything. It is over.

I don't think so! The USA team played well at the world championship and only lost in the semifinals from Greece. The greek team did a better team work and had a good percentage at free shots, 2 point and 3point. Also, the Americans didn't have the "fire" the greeks had in the court, A player by himself wouldn't have made a difference. It was just not their day. Like it wasn't the greek team's day in the finals where they played awful! Their game, for a team with their ability, talent and standards was realllllyyy bad.

Team USA didn't lose to Greece b/c they were less talented. They loss b/c they lacked defensive cohesion & they missed tons of free throws. (...and b/c Greece went on a stretch where they were flaming hot and shot like 25-33 from the field) Kobe wouldn't have been able to guard both sides of the pick-n-roll, so I don't think he would have made much difference in that game. If he was able to score consistently, he could have made a difference, b/c even though they lost, and Greece went on that hot shooting stretch, they only lost by 6 points. As it stood, Team USA could have won that game if they had been able to hit a few more of the 500 free throws they missed.

USA needs team players not whiny overpaid dramqueens. The rest of the world is getting alot better at basketball if you couldnt tell by now and the rest of the teams have been playing together for years so they have a chemistry together. Once team USA builds chemistry there is no team in the world that can beat them.

Like what Kobe said..

It all depends on the chemistry of the players...

You can even put the Dream Team there.. If there is no chemistry they would easily get defeated..

We'll never know, but I doubt it. The talent level was already pretty high, and Kobe wouldn't have been enough to put them over the top. He could have negatively impacted the team chemistry, or he could have just played without any incident. We won't know.
