What did you do to her? Something had to happen to cause this to happen. Does she go around kicking people in the groin? You have to follow Co. policy first. If they don't investigate the incident then go to labor board and report her, then get a good lawyer. Even if you provoked her she has no right to touch you in any manner. Not only is the company libel so is the boss. You might let them know when you talk to them.

Whatever you do - be a man about it! Do not under any circumstances refrain from immediately reacting or retreat to your cubicle to consult with online people about how to defend yourself. That would just be ridiculous and you would therefore deserve to get kicked in the groin.

If the company is large talk to an Attorney first. Do not go to HR, they are on the companies side and maybe hers if she is your boss.
