Since there is no draft there are no rules. In the past you were deferred until you graduated.

The U.S. Military has volunteers serving right now. You may be called up if you are registered as a Reservist. There is no draft at this point and no plans to start one up. You may want to check with your college advisor or check the link below.

I also think some of the officers serving in the recruiting centers may be able to give you accurate information, too.

Currently there is no mandatory draft in the United States. So the answer is no- you can't- even if you aren't enrolled in college.

There's not going to be a draft. If there was and you were in college you might not be drafted. If you did you most likely wouldn't go in as infantry. Officer material.

If you're in the reserves or the national guard you can be called up at any time. If you are enrolled in college no allowances will be made for letting you finish your current quarter or semester, let alone your degree.

There is no draft right now. But if there was, they generally don't bother college students, unless absolutely necessary.

What are you afraid of?? This is where all your other hareful questions towards President Bush is coming from, to where you feel you have to attack him, and spread vicious lies, etc.... You should be ashamed of yourself.

But, in the event that there would be an open draft again, you would go, IF they needed you.
