the ones that WON. history is recorded by the victors. the ones who won the wars, conquered "lesser" peoples, and were strong enough to keep their way of life going at teh expense of other cultures. its not pretty, but its human nature.

Good question, because indeed history is made (manufactured) by those in power, it is an excellent means of manipulation. In my opinion archaeology is the only field in history which can be trusted.
