1. Rub toothpaste on hickey. Let it dry, then scrub it off.
2. Take the cap off a lipstick, fill it with hot water and hold the cap to the hickey while rotating it. Rotating the hot water disburses the blood away from the skin, causing the hickey to go away. It must be applied several times for a noticeable change.
3. Mix plain white sugar with water until you get a paste, then massage it into the bruise. This works best soon after the bruise forms, but hastens recovery regardless. I understand this causes the capillaries to dilate and reabsorb the 'spilled' blood.
4. To get rid of these nasty bruises, take a spoon and put it in the freezer till the next day; then rub the bruise in a counter-clockwise stroke. This should make the bruise less noticeable.
5. As soon as the hickey appears, take a regular hair brush and gently brush the bruise in an "up and down" fashion. This will immediately lessen the appearance of the hickey and constant brushing will help to remove it.

Since hickies are broken blood vessels causing the 'bruised' look about the only thing you can do is where make-up to cover it OR a turtle neck shirt or sweater.
None of the "tricks" will heal the blood vessels any quicker than they already would.
Have a great day!!!

No. Hickeys are burst blood vessels. The only cure is ice (to calm the redness) and makeup.

If the hicky is fresh you can put ice on it but it is similar to a bruise and lemon will nit work...Rose water and glycerin will help it heal faster but your kind of screwed if you need it to magicly dissappear!!Hugs Daisy

No, because it's a cluster of subdermal blood clots. Kind of like a bruise. It's best to try to hide it with concealer, if you have one that's a really good match to your skin tone. Do you know that hickies can kill you? If one of those blood clots were to travel to your brain, you'd have a stroke. So don't let anyone give you them. They're disgusting anyway.

No, but squirting it in the eye of the one who gave you the hickey will keep him from doing it again.

Dermablend with cover it or a waterproof concealer. If you must participate in (hickeys) get it placed somewhere no one can see them.
