No, I have never broke the covenant, and I would not appreciate someone doing it to me.
Definition:
An agreement generally made by neighbors whereby each participant maintains a key to the other's dwelling. The key is to be used for emergency purposes only such as a lockout. Misuse of the key (e.g. unexpected pop-ins) can result in one losing key privileges.

No, but I have misplaced the key, so maybe I might have. Thank goodness I don't have to move to California.

I've never given anyone keys to my house...
but I do have keys to a friend's house,
who tells me to come and go as I please.
I think it's a little weird...but hey...whatever!
