Does the job pay so well, that it offsets your travel expense?
How important is your education right now, relative to your need to support yourself?
Can you find another job that meets your needs?
Only you can make this decision. Make a list beyond the aforementioned and the decision will become very clear. Good luck!

Before quitting your job try talking to your boss. Explain to him that you are committed to the job but you are more committed to getting you education. Tell him that while you appreciate that he needs a dependable worker and that you happy that he relies on you as a dependable employee that you need to get a set schedule. You would be surprised at how many employers are willing to work with you especially when you have proven yourself. However if he does not want to work with you then by all means you really should go. Education is key to your success and your future.

You could quit your job if you want and get another. But wait until you're sure you'll be getting the other job. It also depends, if you have to work since you didn't mention your age. Look at your financle and buget situation first. Or you can also speak with your boss or manager about your schedule, getting in the way with school. I don't think quitting school is a good option.

Don't quit unless you have something else lined up that solves your problems. You don't have some of the major issues that most people have at work, so if I were you, I'd be reluctant to pull the trigger until I know that something better is in the pipeline.

sounds like time for a job closer to home so you can concentrate on your school work which is more important. If they refuse to make your schedule stable then its not worth it. There are other places to work.

If you need the money, don't quit until you find a new job. It sounds like the bad points of your job outweigh the good ones, so start looking. Good luck.

I would weigh how much you need the money and look at your budget while going to school. You may need to quit one or the other, save money up for school and go when you don't have to work.
