Usually its pretty nice warm days, cool nights sorta dry (Indian Summer) ....though I've seen it snow towards the end of the month. I grew up there is how I know....what are you planning to do up there? Check the weather channel website for average highs and lows etc.

It's not too bad in October, I was there last year visiting family. We went to the pumpkin patch and didn't even have coats. It's was 60s/70s. Don't know if that was unusual though. That was in Fargo, if you are farther north, it's probably considerably colder. You can research average temps on weather.com.

Cool and pleasant. 30-40's at night 50 to -75 days. Usually, no snow until mid November.

It can be as warm as 50 to 60 degrees Farenheit and as cold as ten to twenty-five degrees Farenheit.

Cold....cold...and more cold - possibly several inches of snow
