Depends on what look your going for and how your wearing your hair.
Charcoal eyes with a soft curl in your hair says, "Hollywood bombshell"
Straight hair with a purple, pink, or green eye says your a little playful because your adding color to your kind of plain pallette. It will also draw people right to your eyes. This is a good way to go if you think your eyes are a great feature.
Nuetral colors like browns and rosy pinks will be very classy and natural-wear with your own natural shape of hair.
If you still can't decide. See the link below. Any one of these would be fun. Just pick your fave.

What color are your eyes? Are you tan or pale? And I am just assuming you have light blonde hair... and when I went to dances back in the day I went tanning soooo...
I would need more info, but when wearing black I always say wear make-up that brings out your eyes... and add a little black to make it a smokey eye, that will pull it all in together...
hoping that you are somewhat tan then depending on your eye color:
blue- blues, grays or silvers, natural browns look good too...
hazel- golds and deep pink/ maroon, deep greens
green- purples and plums, browns and golds
brown- any color looks good with Brown, but white or lite pearl in the corners bring out the eyes

A classic evening look will be best. You should look natural with either the eyes smokey or more vivid lip color (but not both). Go to a MAC store, Sephora, or a cosmetic counter like at Nordstrom. Have someone give you an evening look that you can do at home.
Have a wonderful time!

Wear a make-up base to add a Little depth to your cheek area...then a little blush over that to define your cheek bones. A nice eye shadow perhaps with a blue/purple blend that is not screaming but just dark enough to show up, mascara - dark brown, outline your lips with a good lip liner and a nice gloss to touch up during the evening and Have Fun!!

I love blondes with dark eyes (black liner all around with smokey eyeshadow), peachy blush and nude beige glossy lips. It's just so sexy. Deep red nails or sheer bridal colors.
lipstick suggestions: Revlon Nude Velvet, Guerlain Beige De Envie, Laura Mercier Discretion
Nail suggestions: Reds- Essie's Mix it up or Bordeaux
Nudes: Essie Mademoiselle

a gray, silver, or dusty brown eyeshadow. with a darker color (black/ brown) in the creases of your lids & blend the shadow or black eyeliner under your bottom lids. since this is dark & dramatic, use a paler lip color to really make your eyes pop.

So...what do you think about a plain light beige base...gold on eyelids and very dark blue or plum in the socket.u 'll like lovely and very attractive.keep lipcolour very light. try a nude colour for the lips and if you are white, terracotta powder instead of orange/pink blusher.Good luck

you've already got a colourful color on your gown, so i imagine you need to stay impartial on your makeup. stay with browns for eyeshadow and bronzer for blush. A cranberry red lipstick might want to seem smashing!

You should do a smokey eye and a natural lip. Put this link in the address bar for the picture.
