crossdresser needs help with dressing -up got any good tips ladies?

It very much depends on the event and weather. In general, don't dress in a way that stands out too much from everybody else (don't wear a floor-length sequined gown to the mall, for example). And you want to play down your masculine tells and play up feminine tells to help with the illusion. Shaving is a must, and if your own hair is too short or too boyishly cut, then a wig is good also (a color close to your own is good, so it doesn't clash with your skin tones). Good eye makeup, pretty but not whore-ish and even foundation. As for blouse or dress necklines, avoid square cut (which makes shoulders look more broad) and avoid 3/4 or cap sleeve (it will accentuate long or muscular arms). A skirt is better than slacks (again with playing up the feminine tells). Skip Jeans since they are too uni-sexual. Paint your lips and nails (distinct, but not too bold....settle for a nice coral or pink instead of a dark plum or fuchsia). Wear pretty shoes, preferable with a heel. If you are not good in walking in heels, practice. Good luck and have fun :)

since u are tall and slim u can wear knee length dresses. or u can wear dark denim with tunic tops. u can also go for nice knee length skirts and nice printed tops.
