The red, blue, and green gain values got screwed up and the color on my monitor is weird. I want to be able to view photos on my screen with a realistic tone, and I can't seem to find the best color combination. Help!

Have you tried resetting your monitor? Most monitors have a reset option. The best bet it to degauss and then reset all settings. If you dont have a reset option, set everything to the middle setting. This should be about where the monitor is by default.

but maybe you want to reduce the color a bit and increase brightness with abit contrast reduction, leave alone tint
reducing the red will give the photo "old " looking
