Its a very important day for many, if you don't care about it....go about your little world of hate.
Its been 5 years since I lost my 4 college roomates in that horrible attack.
When will everyone just stop trying to be jerks and call people names and grow up and respect the truth...EVEN IF ITS NOT WHAT YOU WANT IT TO BE.
This freakin movie thing is a joke....it shouldn't be on even if its a 100% accurate or if its not.
PEOPLE DIED HORRIBLE DEATHS...the question should be what kind of society do we live in where we allow people to make money off of that.....
PLEASE DON'T GO SEE ANY MOVIES ABOUT 9/11 - we all lived it. DO we really need to be told about it from a movie producer??????
When are we gonna drop the labels and respect the dead and the truth..........WHEN?

I hope silver realizes no one is stepping on her rights.
What I'm saying is just stop the nonsense for at least today....PLEASE
There is plenty of factual documentaries about 9/11 - would you like your 10 year old to watch a movie that was made to make money or would you want him to respect the truth and the dead??????
When did I step on you rights?

I apologize for generalizing by saying "WITH YOU PEOPLE"....but this Q&A seems to be filled with questions that just lead people not only to disagree but to ridicule and hate each other if they don't share the same view.
thank you to those of you who have comforting and nice things to say.
It was tough losing my best friends, all of them at once no less and I know people lost more then me and my heart goes to them completely and I shed my tears for them without shame but with great pride.
all I ask is for one day for people to show compassion the those who disagree with them....

I am sorry to hear of your loss. I agree with you. We need to surround this 9/11 with love, change the hate. Until we can change the hate nothing will change. I do pray for the loved ones that lost someone important to them in any circumstance.
God Bless

I am very sorry for your lost, of four really good friends. You have every right to be mad about the movies and I agree that people should not be able to make money off of those who lost their lives. Infact I feel that the money made should go towards the families that lost loved ones, like for the children's college funds and so on.
I do agree with you, however, everyone grieves in there own way and the movies may be the one thing that helps others to bring closer, to make piece with the horrible happenings of Sep. 11th.
I know its not the way you will bring closer and that is completely understandable, but would you want others to never have closer? If you look at it that way, maybe it will help.
All of my prayers and thoughts or with you and everyone else effected by Sep. 11th.

When we are satisfied we understand what and why it happened so we can in our minds at least take some action to avoid it happening again. That desire is perhaps futile, but as long as it exists people will take advatage of it. I watch in order to gather information some of which has been hidden from us, like what and why do these people hate us. Apparently they have good reason, and why didn't we know that, and who and why are these people hiding stuff, and can we stop them and how can we do that and how can I be part of that. I am sure there were actually innocents there that got killed, but did they not know these people had decared war on us,, why not,, and did they not know that building was a military target (they had tried to take it down twice b4) so why are we all so stupid.
There are just a lot of unanswered quetions and while I know that your grief is real and we should respect it, it is also improtant that we prevent future people grieving like you if we can.

This movie does say some things. Government won't protect you. Government can't protect you. And even though you haven't done a thing to them, there are people out there who will kill you if they get the chance. They say they hate us. That is the truth. And the dead could care less. Do you think sitting around a campfire and singing *** Va Yah will make things better?

Wow the only hate I am getting is from you! Alot of people lost loved ones. I am sorry that you did also. Everybody grieves in their own way. If you choose not to see movies or watch anything that is certainly your choice, and the men and women in this country fight to protect that right for you, but they also protect my rights. I watched the show last night and plan to watch it again tonight. My youngest son was only 5 when this happened, he is now 10 and can grasp more of what happened. I choose to let him know, I choose to watch what I want. I hope you find the peace you are looking for, but don't step on my rights in the process! ......since you pointed me out I feel like I need to reply again..sigh....if the movie you are referring to is 9/11 by that a** michael moore, then no I would never let my son see that slanted piece. He saw the movie about flight 93 and he cried, and said "mom those are the bravest people we know"..and I agree.....I won't bother going into who I know and loved and who died on 9/11 because I choose not to share that, it really doesn't matter to anyone but me. All I am saying is that you grieve your way and I will grieve mine, and I hope that everyone heals. But I will continue to watch what I please, and you will continue to ask people not to, and that is the American way. Again I hope you find the peace you seek.

I'm really sorry about the loss. No one a right to be killed or to kill!
I personally think that a lot of innocent people are hated for 9/11. First, find the right people to hate, then figure out what to do with that hate of yours. Hate is the same as man slaughter (that's what the Bible says)--but of course, I doubt you care....
If you hate innocent people than you're a racist!

sadly, the dead are never respected, only used for profit by others
I refuse to see that movie because I think it is sick to profit off a tragedy

People who hate are ignorant and just want to spread it around, unfortunately. Don't let them get to you, you are above them.
