Ist try weather stripping, the self stick kind, it comes in a roll like tape. It is a foam stripping that you apply to the exposed areas and it works well. Then if you still need the plastic, use that too. Both can be found at Home Depot, the plastic comes in various sizes and thickness. A minimum thickness would be good for you and get the clear kind so light will come through and you can still see out. Good Luck!

Go to any Target, Home Depot, or other hardware store in your area .. they all sell Scotch Brand and Off Brands of a plastic that will fit your window tightly and keep the drafts out .. you just need a hair-dryer to heat the plastic down to your window size. Good Luck ! :)

I saw some plastic like you seem to be describing at Lowe's. Alternately, try Home Depot, Ace, or perhaps even Walmart.
Good luck!

Any home store or hardware store...Home Depot, Lowes, True Value...any one of them has it. You need a hairdryer too, as you put it up & the blow the hair dryer onto it to make it tight so it doesn't look bad.

Menards - I would buy the kind that comes with sticky tape it is easy to use and a hair dryer to get it tight so the air doesn't flow through. It works great!
