It is in addition to regular profiling. Behavior is the first step of profiling.
Please remember the FBI considers factions of PETA as terrorists.

No, but it might head off an attack. Arab attacks started back in the 1970s, on on 9-11-01. Muslims make up 25% of the worlds population yet have make all the terrorist attacks against the US.
Your are listening to propaganda from our adversaries.

When was there ever no racial profiling? It's always been used in times of war. Japanese American internment camps during WW II are an example. But with this war, it's not just racial but religious profiling. There'll always be threats of attack but our security thankfully catches them short.

I think it will help thwart another attack.. So far they are the only ones trying to blow up anyone in a passenger plane .. ie; NY,Pennsylvania,Pentagon and recently England(who happened to stop 10 planes from being blown up) So the way I look at it , If blue eyed blonde's start committing acts of terror , then we 'll need to profile them too. But until that happens Middle Eastern people need a little more scrutiny then the rest of us.

I still do not understand why profiling is bad.? There must be enough data to create a profile, which in turn means there is some validity to it. Unless the data used to create it was all fictitious.
Sorry, back to your question - No

yes it will if we can not do random searches of all people then the people become the target .It would be simple to hold amothers two older children and husband hostage while she smuggles bombs past airport security .IF we do not check everyone or at least screen randomly to prevent any method from discovery then we make our people targets .
I do feel that all forign and people who fit the profile should be stopped and searched several times .
THIS will garuntee they select another method of attack.

No...but it WILL lead to airport security personnel wasting less time hassling my sweet little Buddhist mother-in-law and more on those people who traditionally join such extremist factions.

I know that profiling will happen, but to be the policy, that is un-American. Anyone who tells you other-wise knows not the fate that awaits them.
