Jeff Hardy will win the IC belt at Unforgiven. He will have a short run as champion feuding with a bunch of various mid-carders until the day comes when he is getting beat down in the ring and in comes Matt to make the save... and then we have the return of The Hardy Boys... Jeff taking the title of Nitro at Unforgiven will also lead to the break-up of Nitro and Melina. After dropping the belt, Melina will dump Nitro. They've been hinting at this on Raw for a while now with J.R. and King making comments on how Melina seems more interested in the gold than Nitro. This will lead to Melina being pushed towards the Women's title. Trish will beat Lita for the title at Unforgiven. The belt will then be retired and they will have a tournament to determine the new champ. Melina will be pushed heavily and if not win the belt, certainly get to the final and start a feud with whoever does win the belt. Nitro will suffer the same fate as another recent IC champ, Shelton Benjamin, and get totally lost in the shuffle...
