Most printer manufacturer's have the latest version of their printer software drivers on their website. Actually the one that came in the box with your printer is the "initial" and oldest driver for your printer. Download a new driver from their site as they continually update the drivers to fix any glitches or problems found after the machine is in the marketplace.

Go the printers website, like Lexmark, look under Support, and find the make and model of your printer. Sometimes Windows will already have the drivers for your printer. Best of luck.

First Try The Printer Makers web site and check for driver for your printers model number. If this doesnt work go to www.driversguide.com and put in you printer make and model and hit search. It will give you a list of drivers to download. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO JOIN THIS SITE but its normally free.

If you are using win xp, most of the printer driver is already in the operating system, unless the printer is of very old model. Just used the install new hardware wizard.

If you use windows 1st try to install it from windows. Go to :
start-settings-control panel-printers, then add new printer.
Select the manufacturer then model no. If it is not there then try to download from the manufacturer's website or other sites as everybody suggested.

Like others have suggested try the printer's manufacturers site first, but if they do no list your printer or the site is offline then try
www.driverguide.com - they have drivers for almost anything.
