I have Porter too.
Right now he is deep in Art Shell's dog house. Whited is penciled in as the starter, with Ron Curry in the slot. Porter is a situational #4 WR now.
He reportedly has been parking in Al Davis' parking spot.
If those are your only choices, go with Curry. Eric Parker from SD could be on the waiver wire, but if you are ahead, you might be okay.
What a mess.

I'd stick with Porter just because he's better. You are right in that you shouldn't expect much.

I would stick with Porter, he is the more talented of the two.
