It is hard to say. Certainly, some sort of strong action would be taken, but there are too many variables to come up with a good prognostication. But the threat is very real. A crate the size of an office desk can hold a nuclear weapon -- give me thirty pounds of weapons-grade uranium, and I could build a bomb in a month. Such a device, detonated on an upper floor of the Empire State Building, would take out all of New York from Harlem to the Battery. Read Tom Clancy's The Sum of All Fears for some chilling details.

Firstly ... just because someone is Muslim, doesn't make them a terrorist. Secondly ... I seriously doubt it would be someone from the Middle East. Thirdly ... it would more than likely be an American with radical viewpoints to do this (we have greater access to the materials needed) and lastly ... if it came in the form of a missle, I can safely tell you that whichever country sent it would be a glass parkinglot within about 4 minutes of launching a first strike. Have a good day ... and hopefully something like this will never happen, in the US or anyother country in the world.

Much like 911, we would find the perpetrators and take retalitory action. Going ape benefits no one. Muslims represent the dominant religion on the planet and a small percentage are extremists, just like christianity, imagine that. Islam religion is a religion of peace but of course the extremists can reinterpret it to satisfy their requirements, just like christians and the bible.
Obviously, for a religion to become the most dominant it must offer it's adherents something of benefit.

What if it wasn't the middle eastern terrorists but North Korea, or some other country that hates the USA, there are plenty of haters not from the middle east.

The Dems would be screaming at the top of their lungs blaming Bush for not doing anything about the terrorist threat. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I would have to concur, with the exception of Israel... but Iran would be the first to feel the wrath of the USA and GOD.... Allah has already condemmed Iran.... Iran's days as a terrorist enclave of ignorance and stupidity are numbered....

truthfully, i in my view do no longer care. We shouldn't elect a president because of the fact they're the "first" something, we ought to continuously elect them because of the fact we expect of they are going to govern the country nicely. i assume this is severe high quality to have a woman or gay president, because it could cut lower back bigotry, yet that's no longer a reason to alter your vote, in case you inquire from me.

The tree-huggers would cry out asking what we did to make people not like us and ask what could we do to not offend anyone else so this never happens again.
