The Tyrannosaurus Rex was apparently "dethroned" as the largest carnivorous dinosaur. And i believe that now theyre saying that the Giganotosaurus (43-46ft) was biggest carnivorous dinosaur that ever lived.
Hope this helps. :)

No, it was not. It recently lost the title to giganotosaurus, which in turn lost to spinosaurus after some new spinosaurus bones were found. Spinosaurus is officially the biggest known carnivorous dinosaur.
