Why are they even allowed back on the streets? What should be done with them? I can't believe members of the MS13 and aryan gang, etc. are actually allowed to roam the streets. In my opinion, they should be executed for all the deaths they have caused, but that's just me. What do you think?

ME TOO!
We have recently bought a house and are now finding out that there is a little more crime and gang activity then we expected up there. Now in Edmonton we live in the south end and its quiet. But as our possession date to move comes closer i find that I'm getting a little bit of anxiety. The house we purchased is a little north and central. And everyday on the news i hear something happening that is only blocks away from where we are going. For the safety of my children i would be greatly relieved if something was done. Although in my opinion and something I'm teaching my son right now (due to the 911 attacks) is that to kill someone because they killed is wrong and that would make us just as bad as them. If we could exile them to a place or even build a prison out in the ocean then live without fear would be awesome. The only problem is crime never goes away. There will always be someone else to take other peoples places. I don't know how to solve this problem. But for me to feel comfortable we need to start cleaning up our streets soon. Thanks for making me think. I respect your opinion and think that you have a good point that known criminals and killers should not be free. I agree that even if your indirectly involved in a crime and you are apart of the gang you should be responsible as a group for what they do.

gangas are a sad thing. i understand why people join them, i understand why they exist in the first place, but nothing excuses the violence (and usually drug activity) they bring. i don't believe in putting anyone to death, because 2 wrongs don't make a right, as they say, but letting known gang members back on the streets is never a good thing. i am tired of feeling worried about this type of thing too, it's sad we have to live with that.

Amen to that sister!!! You should be a spokesperson on gang violence you could start an organization or something if you feel that strongly about it. You can make a difference! If you make an organization I will join it and help you out to stop those dirty gang members!

All american's are innocent until proven guilty by 12 of their peers. The twelve also decide if they should receive the death penalty. Personally, God is the only entity that has the right to take a life.

I agree with you. I say if they are affiliated with that gang then they should know who commits what crimes. If they refuse to speak up charge them with the crime.

It is absolutely terrible, everybody should live a life of peace without fear of being mugged, murdered or assualted.

!You still have to give them the same rights as you do others, and they can be hard to catch and harder to prosecute
