reallyfedup: Yeah...you know enough people who work at Hollywood to pass judgment? Thanks for proving my point!

It's a cheap way to rag on people, mostly more wealthy and attractive than they are.

Largely, the "conservative" is just on this reactionary vendetta against all things pertaining to looks and sexuality.

It's a mental disorder:Right-Wing Hateism.

Hate is a strong word. But I will tell you how I feel.

I think it is more than absurd that the mainstream is subject (and some believe) these 'creative' artists. Please tell me how being an actor or director gives you the political wisdom to sway the country? I am absolutely supportive of people expressing their opinion, however, I do think there are instances where the influence can be abused.

In short, those in 'Hollywood' and other areas of fame do not represent the decision makers in this country. That is what public elections are for. If someone likes a person that much, then encourage them to run for office. It has happened before.

PS - I also don't give a hoot what some famous person is up to, who they slept with and what dress they shouldn't have worn. Why do people pay to be nosy? It's just stupid.

And I watch movies for entertainment. They are all fictional in the end.

Anything that bucks conventional wisdom or deviates from the norm tends to pizz off Neocons/cons. Hollywood is a beacon of light during these tumultuous times. Remember Neocons/cons are an exclusive lot that looks at anything different as subversive or UnAmerican. I'll take Susan Sarandon. Alec Baldwin, SEan Penn, etc ANY DAY over O'reilly, Limbaugh, Coulter, etc.

I don't hate hollywood, nor most of the movies. In fact some of the best actors are jerks. For instance, sean penn and johnny depp are great actors in my opinion, but pieces of $hit as a human being.

What we hate are the hypocritical hollywood stars that think because they were in a movie, they automatically have the knowledge of how the world works. They say we should feed the children, then go home and live in their 100 million dollar mansion. I don't have a problem with their mansion, either. They made enough money to buy it, great, but don't be a hypocrite.

conservatives hate hollywood because it is full of a bunch of immoral people who are helping destroy our country. It isn't the movies, it's the lifestyles of the people making them that we hate. WHen I go to mcdonalds for a burger, I am going for the food although I know that they people that work there do bad things in their life too.

I don't believe that all true. I for one will never see a movie with Alec Baldwin or Charlie Sheen because I will not be able to get into their character because I'll be thinking "there's that idiot who...". I don't understand why Hollywood types think I care what their political opinions are.

You don't speak for all of us. I haven't watched a Hollywood movie since leftist uneducated actors started voicing their political views. Also it has taken Hollywood years to finally start making patriotic movies.

Funny thing is Hollywood didn't start making the patriotic movies until they saw the money drop over the past few years.

Its a love hate relationship. They hate us we hate them. And yet since they have no other marketable skills we throw them a bone and go see their movies otherwise they would be on the street looking pathetic, and who really wants to see that.

To much cleavage.

NeoCon men are famous for their adulterous lifestyle. They blame Hollywood for making movies with gorgeous women.

If women only wore burka's then NeoCon men would not be tempted.

The politics of hate.. If you have it I hate you, if you don't have it I hate you. I suspect these people hate themselves. Look at the way they stalk and haunt people on here. Constantly trying to restrict freedom of speech with their incessant complaints to Y Ans abuse page.
