When we were all kids at one point in our lives? It's kind of ironic... What do you think? Please give your opinions.

I love kids.

I love well-behaved, polite, supervised kids.

The problem with kids today is not children, it's parents that let them scream, yell, cry and misbehave in public places like restaurants without any attempt to control them.

Just theis weekend, my wife and I were enjoying a meal at a higher-end, sit down chain restaurant and this six-year old from the next table was running around disturbing everyone. His parents were talking to their friends and paying no attention to this little brat.

He came over and looked at us when our entrees came. My wife said "Hi, what's your name". "Michael".

I said "Hey Michael, want to hear a story?" I said it very very loudly so his parents could hear. I'm a big guy and I have a booming voice.

"When I was a little boy, I sat down in my chair and behaved myself, because if I didn't my father would take me outside and spank my bare *** with his belt until I cried real loud."

His mother got up and grabbed him and they didn't look at me at all. No one was talking anymore, but the dad's friend was laughing. I could tell they were very embarrassed....or maybe they were just scared of me...some people tell me I'm intimidating. They asked for their check and left.

My wife was pretty embarrassed too. She's like "Why do you have to humiliate people?". "I don't know, guess I thought they needed it".

A few minutes later, an older retired couple from a few tables away came over as they were making their way out, to-go boxes in their hands.

The man, a gentleman in his late 60s who looked like he was headed to the country club says "I hope you don't mind, I paid for your dinner already. My names Ron Moore......wish I had to balls to say what you did a little while ago"

I thanked him and smiled. My wife was shaking her head in embarrassment. She hates it when I'm right.

I have a friend of mine for over 10 years now. I have three children, and while she loves them to pieces, she will NEVER have any of her own. Why?

1. Children cry - She can't stand to hear the whiny, nasally sound of a kid crying. She believes that most of the time, children shouldn't be allowed to cry, and the sound to her means the child is being neglected.

2. Children are walking disease factories - Well, it's true. Every kid carries around all kinds of germs, mostly because hand-washing isn't enforced in the home. Plus, they are more prone to cold, and wipe their dripping musuc on the first thing their hands come in contact with. She hates germs.

3. They throw up and poop without warning - And she can't handle bodily fluids from someone else other than her own.

4. They take away all independance - it's true. They do, and she doesn't want to have to share her life with someone else.

5. Kids are cash drainers - And she likes her money coming right to her, not to diapers, school clothes, or college.

6. Kids are ill-bahaved nowadays - She doesn't want a kid in this day and age. Fear of discipline, or lack thereof, and how the kid reacts to situation make her nervous.

Messes - She doesn't want to have to clean up diapers, bottles, toys, or anything else that isn't hers.

That's just some of the reasons. I for one, am glad. If they are that adamant about not wanting children, they shouldn't be forced to, or made to feel inept as a human because they don't want to.

I think that when people say they don't like kids, it does not mean they really have it out for kids. It means they hate them screaming and bouncing balls, etc. They do get on your nerves But, I have a wonder-full Grand-baby and I love all kids. They don't bother me none. Glad their Mom gets to take care of them and I can walk by and smile and say what a pretty child you have. Besides I have raised my kids and I'm plum tired now. LOL I hope this helps out some. Children are the foundation of this World. God Bless You!

We can't help it that we were all kids at one point. When you're a kid, you don't notice the annoying things that they do (well, maybe things like bullying).

Some adults don't like children because they can be loud, hyper, demanding, etc. Also, children and adults are not on the same level emotionally or physically.

its not that i don't like kids, but i think most kids of today are rude spoilt and down right cheeky. if i cheeked a neigbour when i was a kid, i'd get a smack. in my area there are kids rapping my window like its a joke theres nothing funny about my privacy being invaded. or they're pretending to sell stuff so they can have a look inside to see what they can steal. i'm really sick of them all at the minute they need disipline

Ever spend any amount of time around kids that were not your own?

I can't stand any other children BUT mine!

I always know, mine are well behaved, they are clean, don't have that sweaty little monkey smell and they are smart. Most people don't think as much of theirs and it shows!

We just don't. And we have all, at least once in our lives, been sick, too. Do you enjoy hanging around sick people?

If I said I liked every adult I ever met, people would think I was naive and unrealistic. Why am I expected to love all children?

yes we were all kids at one time, but most of us older people whose moms stayed home and raised us knew how to behave, unlike these spoiled kids today.plus we played outside the t.v. wasn't our babysitter,we burnt off some of that excess energy, and we had our chores, no time to be aggravating adults if we did our parents corrected us.

I don't know, but it's very sad. How can people not like kids, they're so cute!

I hate it when people see my son and get all angry, like when I take him shopping. He's a really good kid and people judge him before they realize he's not going to run around like a crazy child and pull stuff off of their shelves.

Yet other people have other things that anoy them like animals, dirty houses or people they think are stupid. We are not all the same
