Nope! Your bats are yours.

I'm from CT, also, and we have bats just about everywhere. They don't really bother me, but their droppings are highly acidic and some people just plain don't like them. I would suggest maybe building a bathouse somewhere on the property if you don't have children.

Try blocking their roosting spot with some chickenwire or other means.

You definitely want them around in the summer, though. We live on a pond/swamp and the mosquitoes are absolutely minimal :)

Bats are not migratory. They usually hibernate in the winter in cold climates.

I don't believe they do...they are awesome at insect control as long as the guano isn't a problem.
