Spray some dish soap down the sides of the track and let it seep into the space between the window and track and try to work it open.

Friend, The problem which you are describing you may be little serious also but dont worry. It seems that you are allergic to little cold air and dust because at night time also there is some infact reasonable amount of dust. Most probably you are allergic to dust and cold just like me. And also you may be sufferring from ''Sinusitic''. Dont worry a lot and avoid a sudden change of climate i.e. from hot to warm or vice - versa and also take regular steam inhilations. Even if you find this problem then just consult a physician so that you can be sure that you are not sufferring from any problems like sinusitic or mingrane. And yeah, slowly slowly avoid sleeping by leaving windows open and try to stop the cold water (refrigerated). Take Care

I am assuming that the windows ares of wood.. The only thing that I could do when I had them was to wait until they dried out.. that is the problem(one of the problems) with wood windows.. I now have vinyl and do not have that problem.

A piece of wood and a hammer ... hit the wood upwards with the hammer. Make sure your window latches are in the open position. Good Luck ! :)

Let them dry out. Or use a hair dryer to help get them dry--a hand held hair dryer.

Once they are dried, make plans to paint them so that the wood is less likely to absorb moisture in the future.
