Um -- War did come to US Soil SEptember 11, 2001. How many of those eligible who post on here have volunteered?.
Also, baring your arms might get you a suntan -- Bearing arms would provide better protection.

Yep, and I wouldn't bat an eye killing any of our enemies either. I don't think many people realize how many of us there are over here who would be willing to die to save this country if war ever came to American soil.

Speaking as a leftist, (NOT a liberal), I would fight to the death if this country were ever invaded. Going overseas to fight supposed enemies is not what this country was based on, nor does it make us safer. In fact, we are only breeding more enemies than we can handle, and sadly, I believe I will see the day in my lifetime in which this country is truly invaded, and our armed forces will not be ready, as they will be overextended fighting invented enemies overseas.

we should try to make this a better world with love and kindness and try not to judge others
but if we are attacked, we have the right to defend ourselves

If war comes to the US, Japan would pull the carpet from under our economy, as well as the British and the Dutch and our economy would collapse and leave us in dire straits...so bearing arms might be fine as a last ditch measure but, I would consider learning another language, if I were you.

I do now. Only the libs would welcome the invaders with open arms, asking what they can do to make them at home. But, before you attempt to use this as an argument about us getting out of Iraq, remember, the US has NO intention of staying there after the government is stable enough to stand on its own. THAT is the difference.

I already use my right to bear arms.....
If war came to the USA, the invaders would be in serious trouble.... they would face more weapons than they could count.
But, it depends on whether it is on land or from the air.... if from the air, we would depend on our Air Force to subdue the ignorant attackers.
But, at present....
We are being invaded by ILLEGAL ALIENS...
we are at WAR with ILLEGAL ALIENS....
ILLEGAL ALIENS are at WAR with the USA...
AND our government aids and abets the ENEMY ARMY of ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS....WHY?
