Packard Bell no longer sells their products in the U.S.A. but they are available elsewhere. I guess American consumer protection laws scared them from doing business here!

Unless ur a computer whizz, and you just want a laptop to play around with on the move, I recommend Dell.

Do not get a Mac. Mac ownders are like cultists that blindly believe in their "God" (Apple) despite there being no evidence of wonderful things they claim and it actually severely limits your life and options, much like a real religion.

Not sure whether yes or no, but they are normally built using cheap/old devices so that they look a bargain. Take a look at the spec first.
