Had some issues with my bike and wondered if someone could be tampering with it. In the last year I have come back to find the gear lever squashed under the main engine, the petrol tank popped out of it's fixture and leaning to the left, and now apparently the park plug cover has also been removed to stop it working. Am I being paranoid or is this something easy to do. Or could it be something that happens naturally?

Checked on each occasion (sorry I shouldhave pointed out that these 3 problems occured on seperate occasions) and no sign it had fallen over - no scratches, hanlebars looked fine, as did foot rests. Think I am going to have to find somewhere else to park. Or set up some observation on my bike.

Is parked legally in a motorcycle bay near work, (is fine at home) - i get there at 9ish and leave at 6ish. never disturb anybody, normally park in the middle where is surrounded by bikes so very unlikely to have been knocked over. Cant think who i've annoyed? I sometimes have to move other bikes to get mine in, maybe i inadvertently scratched someones. What a pain in the a##.

No this is not a natural occurrence. someone apparently is playing a bad joke on you. You can get a new plug at an auto shop and a plug wrench. You will need to find out the plug gap. either on the engine or in your owners Manuel, or call a dealership.
The rubber plug cap is not a major problem. you should be able to purchase one. If the connector that pushes down onto the plug is damaged you might want to replace the plug wire if you can get it to stay on the plug.Remember this is high voltage and you can't splice the wire.

I had a CG125 !
The gear lever would take a lot of force to go under the engine, sounds like someone has hit it with a hammer.
The petrol tank can only be moved if the seat is also removed first.
The spark plug ? Has the cover just been "popped off" or has it been removed completely. If removed, as you say, then this has been taken off deliberately.
All are clearly signs of vandalism !
Have you upset a neighbour recently ?
Either that or you have a very active ghost in the area ?

If there are no scratches, it sounds like vandalism. The tank would have to get scratched to dis-lodge it. If it fell over to squash the shift lever, how would the spark plug wire come out? Buy a guard dog. LOL

It sounds from your description as though all of these were done deliberately. You must have relly pi**ed someone off. Some people think touching their bike is not in order. They may be getting 'revenge' for you moving their bikes. I'd look for somewhere else to park if I were you.

Sounds like where you're leaving it is annoying a neighbour or someone. Are you leaving it 'legally' parked, not on the pavement, or on your own drive? Or are you starting it up early to go to work/college and waking someone up who works night etc.

These things don't happen on their own through wear-n-tear, its been things that are easy to fix and spot so far.
Keep a look out, good luck.

Sparkplug caps can be removed easy, screw on, it does sound like you have a **** taking a fancy to your ride, park somewhere else. then find out who it is and induce justice on them. I sugest a 2x2 piece of wood.

It doesnt happen naturally, it sounds like it has fallen over and someone has picked it up for you

I agree it could have fallen over, or someone hit it and tryed to cover it up.
