The morning it happened.. seeing ppl jump from the towers.. knowing that they (those that jumped) had loved ones.. but the media was so numb by the tragedy of that day, that it aired on national television.
I couldn't imagine seeing somebody I love.. jump from a building out of fear :(((((

The questions that came after. We always tend to learn after a fact hits home. The human condition. The lessons seem to always return when we seem to learn nothing or little from history. It's a scary reality to stay learned and not to slack, not to relax at all. There is much more to say, but this stands out most often.

that everyone can tell you what they were doing where they were at when they first heard about the attacks
I was a sophmore in high school and we were watching a movie and another teacher came in the room and told my teacher what happened and then the principal for the 50th time that day came on the loud speaker and everyone was like oh boy here we go again then she said what happened and people started to worry cause we live 20mins from NY and many peoples parents work in NY
I bet if you ask everyone knows exactly what they were doing

Those who lost their lives in the plane crash but still had the respect for this country to take over the plane and save part of our country. My heart goes out to all of those who lost loved ones.

Just the look of shock and horror that you saw on peoples faces on the news. Also being so sad thinking about the people that are trapped inside of the building. It still makes me sad whenever I think about it.

Americans came together, regardless of race, religion or creed and help others, somthing I expect the terrorists never expected. I think they saw us as a spoiled, individualistic nation.
