If you are a granny-aged female like me (50+) you'd remember when we had to wear sanitary pads, same feeling -- ugh -- except I have found thongs SO much more comfortable and you don't have a panty line. I think fit makes all the differences. I once got 3 for $25 from Victoria's Secret and never spent so much for so little material. They were worth every penny. They are the BEST fitting. I was recovering from breast cancer and wanted to feel sexy somewhere! I bought 3 pink thongs and had an affair with an old college sweetheart. What a way to recover!! I was left with a broken heart, but what an experience!

well, Have you sized yourself?? According to some size charts I should wear some smalls and mediums.....Well I dont' have an a$$ so I choose to wear XS and they aren't tight and are much more comfortable than the refferred sizes and Sometimes your body may like a certain fabric/material over another. Victorias secret makes the most comfortable cotton thong. Thongs arent exactly for everyone either in that they can be an annoyance so, If thongs arent your thing, try boy shorts, or string briefs, they're all pretty comfy an just as cute, you just have to find out what size fits you bes and what kind of fit.

I wear a thong every day and it's not uncomfortable at all. I would rather have a small strap of fabric between my cheeks all day that's actually made to be there - than up to eight inches of fabric that wasn't made to be there! If you're wearing the right size then you shouldn't be uncomfortable.
*Applebetty...is a twit. Thongs don't ride up and become uncomfortable like other undergarments and they don't cause panty lines or bunching. If you had a smooth curvy figure you might know that. It's not about feeling sexy...it's about functional comfortable undergarments.

Thats all I wear, have been for years...anything else is so uncomfortable to me now. You have to get through the first couple days and I promise you'll never go back.

Depends on the thong...I have one on and it's pretty comfy because the thong part is wide...if it's stringy it'd be uncomfortable.

I do. I love it and would never go back. I didnt have to go through the "getting used to it" peroid.
They really feel so much better than full bottoms. (And look better. VPL can be such a drag. Visible Panty Line)
It gets to a point where you dont even feel them. Best of all, if you get too warm, you dont get that steamy butt feeling, cause you dont have all this fabric hanging over your skin.
Thongs rule!!!

I have worn one for years (obviously not the same one!). I found it a little strange to start with but only if I wore clothes with a shiny lining. I don't know how anybody could possible wear granny pants! I find them unbearable to wear!
