What file connects to mpg just like the M3u can connect to mp3?

It would be very practical for the visitors of my website if they don't have to download huge video files but simply connect to it these through some other file. Just like by m3u one can connect to mp3 or wav.

m3u is a playlist that points to your mp3 files,

you can also create playlists for your video files (mpg)

But I think you mean you would like to Stream your content so your users don't have to download, (just like youtube).

Just make sure your hosting provider offers you this option and they'll have a step by step of how to set it up!
