At first glance you can tell that a. and c. are eliminated. The next number in the sequence is not going to be a negative number.
Given the visual jump in numbers, it is not likely that b. will be the answer. That leaves d.
The difference between 32 and -48 is 80. The difference between -48 and 72 is 120. The difference between 72 and -108 is 180.
At each step, the increment is 150% and alternating the sign. 150% of -108 is 162 and 150% of 162 is -243. The answer is D.
