when you first meet someone, they are just an acquaintance and either you like them or not is determined by their personality. Love comes later...you really love being with someone and then when you fall in love it's different...u are into that person, you are mesmerized by them or swept away by them or him..or her. that's falling in love (after you get to know their mind) there is a difference between love and lust too.

I dont know if there is a black and white answer to that but if you love someone or something, I think there is an invisible tatoo on your heart. It will always be there weather the love remains good or goes bad. there will be an everlasting mark on your heart. If you "like" some one or some thing, its just not the same. You can take it or leave it, its nice, its enjoyable ect,ect. If it isnt in our lives for some reason, one day, we might be a little disapointed but thats about it. "like" doesnt leave an ever lasting mark on us. Thats just my opinion.

Like - We have fun together, laugh, joke and play around. But when you do something that I really don't like, I could care less about speaking to you ever again.
Love - We do the same things together as someone that I like, but when you do something wrong, I get angry, rage out, cry, and yell. But after I am finished doing all of those things I find you and make sure that you are still there.

love is the feeling which u get 4 the person whom u can't live without and like is just attraction and not love.

the difference is that:
- if u look into the eyes of the one you like, u'll blush
- if you look into the eyes of the one you love, u'll smile
- in front of the person u like, u tend to get shy
- in front of the person u love, u can show ur own self
- u cannot look straight into the eyes of the one you like
- but u can always see the sparks into the eyes of the one you love
- when the one you like is crying, u comfort him/her
- when the one you love is crying, u cry with him/her

like is normal friendship but love means giving your whole heart and when you love someone,you get tensed wheneva that person is around.

good question............when you like someone you just like them.......but when you love them ....you feel down deep in your heart ......you never want to let that person go you want to hold them forever and if you cant your crushed .....its hard to explain
