MEN! What is the best way for a woman to apologize?

Question

I am married and I was wondering, since men and women are so different, what says "I'm truley sorry" to a man? For a woman, planning something you know she will enjoy, or buying her something romantic usually conveys that message, but what seems most sincere to a man? Aside from the actual WORDS what best gets the message across? Thanks!

OK this is not about cheating, which has never happened on either side. This is just about general things that regular couples go through, you know, the everyday little things that require apologies

"Honey. You were right and I was wrong. I am truly sorry." Many guys think women would never admit to being wrong. They will often say things like "I shouldn't have done this but you provoked me."

This seriously depends on the circumstances. The other answers sound good, but don't hit on the issues of how he feels about the situation at hand.
The need to apologize is usually associated with some sort of hurt. This could be physical pain, emotional pain, or perceived pain. Some men make a (potentially unhealthy)point to never forgive emotional pain. Accepting an apology in that case might also be his way at a spiteful revenge, albeit unknown to the one apologizing.
I don't think there is a best way. The most effective way must be some sort of mix between attention and pleasure. If trust is broken there is probably much more attention that needs to be attended to before you can get down to the apologizing. Pleasure really won't fit as much into the picture when there is big enough breach of trust. And ultimately he has to be ready to forgive you, and you need to know how to interpret the signals that say, 'I'm over it but lets hear I'm sorry one last time.' And hopefully he doesn't connect your apologizing as a way of getting pleasure, else he could rehash it because of future lack of attention&pleasure.

I think you are missing something here. Women don't apologize; period. If on occassion they are wrong they just move on to another subject of their choice. If you are wise and want to live you just forget it. There is an old saying, "Men never remember and women never forget" that sort of applies. Even if a man is right and a woman is wrong you had better not mention it or you will pay, pay, pay, until the cows come home.

Just to say it like you mean it. We as men know when something is said with out feeling or emotion. Do not talk about it for hours after, once all is said and done and he drop it you do the same as well. We do not need to "rehash" everything over and over again. Good luck
