A kiss (romantic kiss, not just a peck hello), or staring intently into each other's eyes without speaking?

Looking for YOUR opinion, please. :)

I know most will say the kiss, and that can feel intimate.
But I say staring into each others eyes is truly more intimate. It can make you feel vulnerable, give you a sense of connection with the other person, and some say it can give you a glimpse into their soul.

(I also find that, if I do this with the woman I love, it leads into a more passionate and fulfilling kiss.)

I think both are wonderful but each has its time and place. In private, romantic kissing can't be beat. It's in public, say in a gathering of people, that a look into each other's eyes tells what is in the heart without being shared with anyone else. How intimate that is!

Depends. If they are staring and it's a creepy stare then no, but if it's a stare that is after long romantic kiss then it could be intimate.

Also a kiss could be intimate no matter what if you are with the right person.

The eye-stare thing is just too psycho for me.

The romantic kiss is much more intimate.

Staring intently into each other's eyes without speaking can be an erotic experience it also can be very moving. The eyes Are the windows to the soul and you can really transmit your strongest emotions without speaking.

Peace

I would have to go with a nice warm wet kiss...preferably with a little tongue. Man I really miss that because I have been single for 2 years...The tension argggg!!!!
Hmm the eye think would be like staring into each other's soul. But it would get boring after a while.....and you have to blink...
Unless your having a romantic staring contest and the loser gets a kiss..that would do it for me....haahaa caught you blinking.

A kiss. That deep intense kiss that is filled with emotion. Like the kisses in the old movies.

A romantic kiss...

---

Staring intently to each other's eyes = brain-centered. 2 minds
No touch, no sound, no smell.

Romantic kiss = body-centered. 2 beings.
Touch, skin to skin, sensations, romantic, sensual, not lusty but very intimate (beyond clothes).

PS: no french kiss. This is not romantic at all.

I think being able to look into someone's eyes and not be uncomfortable and look away... is very intimate, especially if it follows a very romantic kiss.
