Pliers would be hard. Try using a small/medium size wire cutter.
I guess you've got a joint-less bracelet stuck on your wrist (or ankle!) and cannot get it off. Try applying massage oil or even soap on the skin around the bracelet, relax your mind and slowly work the bracelet off. The more tense your are, the stiffer your muscles and joints and the bracelet won't come off... Good Luck.

Breaking a bracelet with pliers? Go to one of the rings near the clasp, and spread them till you can slip the clasp off the ring.
