Saturday i had sex but i used dboth the contraceptive sponge and a condom the condom did not break and i believe the sponge was used correctly as well. could i be pregnant? or was it brought on by sex? i also had cramps all morning before we had sex. Please help me

If he was unusually large, or just larger than you're used to, it can cause cramping and a little bleeding. Or if you try positions you don't normally do, it can cause it as well.

My last partner and I were concerned as well. Everytime we had sex the first few times that happened. It's probably nothing to be alarmed over. If it doesn't go away after you get "used" to each other, then I would assume it is a haywire period, and I would take a pregnancy test. But it sounds to me like you're pretty well prepared and responsible. Just don't stress out over it, and I hope I helped...

Sex will usually bring on your period early. When I know it's coming, I will usually have sex, just to get my period over with. When ever you do things different, mood wise, stress, food, excercise and sex, your period will change. Early or late. Our bodies are ALWAYS changing, and so does our cycles.

Take a preg test. You may have just spotted from intercourse. I wouldn't jump to conclusions until you miss your actual period.
