some other guy messes them around. so thanks to that prat of a guy. us nice guys dont get trusted. i nearly lost my girlfriend because some other guy (so called friend) lie and hurt her. so she found it hard to trust other guys. thank good in end it worked out. it may not seem like it but not all of us guys lie,cheat, and hurt woman!!!!

Unfortunatly yet another case of the minority making it shyte for the rest of us. Yes ur quite right not all of us are jerks, but like everything else u always get the one thats an absoloute idiot and is hell bent on getting his own way and wants to do allsorts without thinking of others. I applaud u my friend for sticking with it and winning over the odds and keeping over ur girl.....Seems there is a lil justice in this world after all. However i dont think this mis justice of the idiots causing a bad name to the rest of us is going to stop overnight. As men we can say over and over that we are differne t from thier last but deep inside there is always going to be an element of doubt in her mind. One wud assume that it wud work both ways. Unforrtunatly not, due to the asic fact that we are after all men and yes some of our gender seem to think with our pants and females know this......they think "Well he is gunna say that...even if just to get me in bed !" lol either way m8 we cant win, only thing we can do is do our best be ourselves and hope and pray that we can prevail and keep hold of the love of our lives :)

I am not sure why some women blame all men. A women must also blame herself. There are always signs that a guy is an a**, and sometimes we don't see those signs and want to blame the guys..all of them!!!...there are great women out there who can trust and you will find them, besides you don't want to be with a women who bashes men or doesn't trust them, your relationship won't work. Good luck and don't let some women ruin it for all ,just like not all women blame all men!

The same thing happened to me..i was hurt and i thought all men were the same...i actually gave up on finding a nice, caring sensitive man....then i found my guy and he's lovely and everything i've ever wanted..so its not true and i've learnt not to tar everyone with the same brush! There are lots of nice guys outh there!!

it takes a lot of courage to get over past hurts.
girls do it like you said and guys also find it hard to trust girls.
you have to make up your mind that you are going to stay with that person and work hard on building trust
both of you have to make that commitment.
eventually you should be able to gain her trust.
if you don't have the patience and commitment to do that or she doesn't, it won't work. but in our society good luck finding someone who has not been burned in a relationship! so sooner or later you will have to deal with this situation in some form.

i totally agree. Im going through the same thing with mine. Great girl she is but she doesnt trust me cause some other idiot cheated on her and messed her all up. Sucks for us. We just have to keep loving them and show them that we are not like Joe Shmoe

But women are mainly interested in the guys who cheat and lie and hurt them. They must have drama in their lives and they love to be the tragic victim....they wallow in the torment and heartache like pigs in manure.
All that good guys like us can do is stand on the sidelines saying why, why, why and cry in our pain that we can't get the love back from them that we offer so tenderly.

Men do the same thing to women all the time.
When you grow up enough to realize that every person is different and you are willing to give someone a chance, while still being able to guard yourself a bit, you can get over it.
This reaction is a big sign of emotional immaturity... hopefully you'll meet someone who can get over it.

damn good point mate i couldnt agree more. i havent even found a girlfriend yet. some girls just dont seem interested in the good guys any more for relationships cos we're obviously not cool enough!!

The problem is that you get hurt so many times that you protect your heart. It takes time, but if you really don't do that kind of crap, then she will let down her guard and trust you.

its just a natural defence system that we put around us to protect ourselves - perseverence can normally break this down though - just stick in there being a nice guy and you will reap the rewards!
