Lived with different races all my life! and they are no different at all infact all of them have some very basic ground rules which apply to every race..... like spiritualism, respecting elders, respecting others, love everyone, share, give, don't tell lies, births, deaths, salvation........etc etc and so I have never had to cope with anything all of them are just as natural as me! so tell me are you any different?

In New England, USA where I live there are a lot of immigrants from different countries. Our family is totally WASP (White, AngloSaxon Protestant - our ancestors from Britain came over on the Mayflower in 1620) My son goes to the public high school - three of his best friends are an African girl born in Nigeria, a girl with a Korean mother and a Spanish father, and a kid with a jewish father from the Bronx and a Catholic mother from Manila!
My older son's two best friends were a Christian kid from Lebanon and a Moslem Pakistani kid. All of these kids are terrific friends and have a great time together. It doesn't hurt that they are all A students!

I live in San Diego, Ca, so due to the Mexico border, well, we have lots of Mexican, I want to say that I am of Mexican heritage. I call myself an American, not Mexican American. I have a huge problem with that. Both my parents are immigrants, mom from Brazil, dad born the in states, but raised in Mexico. My parents worked hard and made something of themselves and assimilated to the American ways. I have a huge problem, with a lot of immigrants that fight and some almost die to come to this country and then do not assimilate, they expect us to learn their language and culture. This makes me soooo angry. This is the US and we speak and write in English. I shouldnt' have to learn Spanish to commuincate they should learn English.. I guess to answer your question, I am not coping with it at all. This is going to sound mean to lots of people, but sometimes when I am at the grocery store, I sometimes have Spanish speaking come up to me and assume that I speak Spanish and they'll will ask me a question, well I do speak Spanish, but if they don't at least make a little effort to speak English, I won't help them, especially the young ones, if they are a Grandmother type I will help, but the younger ones NO WAY. I tell them to go to school and learn English.

we have a lot of different races in my community and to me its no big deal. I know and have friends of all the races. I will say that out of all the races the Mexicans tend to offend women more because, its weird but, the ones who don't speak English very well if at all, seem to stare and try to pick up the women but in very vulgar ways. And besides the fact that they don't speak English which is the only aggravating part to me, I see no big problem with living with other races. I have grown up with them and they are all my friends.
