those albums were on the way out in the mid to late 80s when Cd's were gaining in sales record companies would ship them in bulk to retail stores like k-mart, wal-mart, i remember stocking up on them when i found them they were cheap about 3 -5 bucks i actually still have some that's never been opened

So they lose their originality. Won't be considered much worth. Yea, people are jerks, just like bending the corners of sports cards too.

so the record is released easier,ever got some of them free cd's in the newspaper??same deal with them...all about making the vinyl enthusiast's life easier.........

They are imports - ie not originally for sale in this country.
