I have two Dells and am very happy with the perfornance of them and Dell's support. At the time of purchase, the price was right and I could not resist. Got a full set for $299 and free shipping. Everything came loaded and activated at power-on. Just had to register.

Dell has good support, but I think they are a tad expensive. eMachines is a good alternative, but I know little about their support. I know they are sold at Wal-mart.
